Yep - We should have run the David run for your life play

We ran it twice in one possesion. I think we are starting to rely on that play a little to much.

Nice smarts by Carr - In a close game he would have turned up field and taken the hit to get the first down.
I am not sure he didn't get it anyway. no break on the spot

1 good thing about leaving Carr in is he can improve his passing yardage for the season. As long as he dont break his leg/arm or something

Pack it up guys, better luck next week. Please put Ragone in since the O-line has this ho-hum attitude. If Carr gets injured I'm gonna pop.

Probably shouldn't be. But he held the ball like they do when crossing the goal line and they didn't give him the spot.

he does that on every carry when he is heading for the sidelines.

i cant vouch for the refs in giving good spots.

If I was Capers I'd release a couple of players after this game to get the message across that this type of effort wont be tolerated.

Speaking of releasing players, who is going when Ramon Walker is activated ?

Play calling is the name of the game. Someone eluded to us not running the ball earlier and how all us were calling for the pass. I would like to say at a critical call in this game the coaches failed again. To begin with you run when you should and don't when you shouldn't. Our coaching staff seems to be doing the opposite. Last week at a critical time on 3rd and 1 on the two they pass the ball. This week with less than two minutes to go after the other team has scored and you are deep in your own territory, you don't pass the ball three times in a row for three and out and you don't kill anytime off of the clock. That was a key point in this ball game and was a killer morale wise.

This really has been a bad ball game and I was worried that this would be the case. I feel we do not match up well against teams that really run the ball well and that has been the case.

Yes, the coaching staff needs to look at their play calling.

Do our coaches realize that there are Tight Ends on the roster?

At least a couple of drops today. Bad day for everyone, except for Gaffney (maybe)

idonno: It doesn't bother me if they loose. But when they play as though they are first year rookies, that bothers me a little. The offensive line offered very little protection for David and the defense really had little effect against the Broncos.

Overall I think that the Texans played well and hopefully they will work on their mistakes that they made in tonights game against the broncos and kick some tail next week.

Boy, we sure got creamed today. I thought we might have gone for it on the 4th and short situations. Yeah, I know we are stuck on our side of the field, but when you are down by that much, you might as well don't you think? After the half, I understand the decision to punt on our 1st possesion, but the Broncos did a great job sucking down clock and we didn't get the ball back until about 2 min left in the 3rd. That might have been 4 down situation after that, especiall when you have a 4th and 1.

The worst part is that it just looked like we were flat out beaten by a better team. I don't even know where to start about what went wrong in that game. The Broncos were just running on all cylinders today and everything was just working for them. Really hard to compete with that.

Anyway, let's just put this loss behind us and get ready for Indy. We're still undefeated in the division so far!
