1. Vonta Leach
2. Chester Pitts
3. I'm really wanting Fred Bennett to be a player I can root for, he is the rookie I want to earn my love.

I really like watching Donta Robinson, the way he hits and his attitude on the field. #22 also brought some lumber in the exhibition games.

No particular order

Rosenfels - I thought he earned a shot
Leach - gotta like cheap FA who come in and play thier hearts out
Ryans - whats not to like
Abatte - I like guys who will come out an hit you
Starting to like Clark as well - see Abatte
Robinson - smallest guy on the team, packs the biggest load

That's Jason Simmons, who happens to be my favorite non-star player. The blue collar guys seldom get any love, and Simmons is a guy that comes in, works hard, hits hard, and contributes to the team every year. Gotta love the hard workers. For all the complaining that's done on here about people that have questionable effort, we sure ought to celebrate more of the Jason Simmons-type players.

I like Owen Daniels. I don't have a particular reason other than the fact that he looks like he's going be a very good tight end in this league. Something we've been missing for way too long.

AJ, not only does the guy have amd skills but he has done what it takes with his contract to put me at ease for years to come. He could have just playe dout his contract and bailed on the team and the city after some of the frustrating seasons we have put him through.

Ryans: Man crush.

I like AJ and Keenan on Offense( I have always liked Keenan when he played in SD)

Same here. Gotta love what a good TE will bring to the party. :whip:

Jones looks like he's going to be very special indeed! To have players that forces the other team to actually alter they're play and plan for them!...well, it's...it's...a dream come true! :thankyou:

Good thread TA!

Oh...coming from me, that sounds odd doesn't it?!?

No love for kickers?!

Brown threw one of his gloves up in the stands at the end of the Browns game last year, and I caught it.

But I'm still trying to figure out why a kicker needs a glove.... :um:

4) Dunta Robinson
5) Jacoby Jones - #5 with a bullet, and rising fast on my list!

10) Eric Winston - Troglidyte. Cave man.

Did anyone else see that play in the third quarter last Saturday when he blocked two guys?

I don't really have a favorite player. It used to be old Aaron Glenn. I've like him since his Aggie days.

Anyway I'll go with McKinney for my "off the field" nominee. I liked his show with John and Lance. It cracked me up when he would talk about Carr's hands being between his legs.

On the field - AJ and Demeco

I used to be a fan a Payne as well. Although, I watched the Jaguars game last night and Payne was being blown up. He only came in for a few plays which got me thinking he might want to consider hanging it up. If not, good luck to him.:shades:
