I just wanted to open a thread to remind everyone that it's Kevin WALTER and not WALTERS. It's been driving me crazy. It's like misspelling Schaub.

Either way, I hope he can fill out to be at least a #3 receiver, I don't think that Walter will be a decent #2. Jacoby seems to be a better option at #2. But either way, after Walter was on the Texans last year, I am sick of seeing people type Walters vs. Walter.

Thanks for that.

Without you and all of the English professors, I don't know how this board would function.

It's not an English thing, I just want people to know the name of the correct possible #2 receiver. It's been driving me insane.

I sure hope he feels Jacoby and Jerome's breath on the back of his neck.

You know it gets confusing for people.

Have you ever been to Randall or Krogers super markets?

People are giving Walter a hard time because he dropped that one pass, but we have to remember that he probably would've caught that other pass in the endzone, if it had been on target. Then, we'd all have a totally different outlook on him right now. Besides that, Walter got things done in limited opportunities in real games last year. Nothing against JJ, but he didn't face the starting D, and Walter did; but, JJ did look good.

No, but my grandmother was really fond of K-Marts and Wal-marts.

I really can't stand it when people over use the phrase "either way" in a post.

Using "either way" in a post is entirely different than misspelling a player's name. Sorry that I used the phrase "either way" but I've seen Kevin Walter's name misspelled so much and I wanted to correct it sine he will hopefully be our #2-#4 receiver. Cut em' off at the pass like people who misspell Schaub's name as well.

People should really remember to say "since" and "them" or "'em", instead of "sine" and "em'";but, it works either way. Walters and Daunte say "sine" too, because they're herd car tuxins.

Now that I think of it, misspell Texans player's names as much as y'all want. As long as you're a fan, then go ahead and call the player what you want to. I was just annoyed at the misspelling of Walter's name and wanted to correct it but it was unnecessary. My bad.

If Walters was faster he would have caught that pass in the endzone.

Shob didn't realize he was so slow.

Glad to see that I'm getting called out on accidentally not putting a "c" in since. I'm just trying to correct the spelling of a player's name.

It's cool. :)

Let's turn this one into a mutual "I can't stand it when someone uses a word or spells one like this" thread.

Living in Oklahoma for awhile, I had to get use to someone saying "post" instead of "supposed".

For instance, "I'm post to go to the store for Ma!" :)

I'm like that too and just was trying to make it clear that it was Walter and not Walters like it's Schaub and not Shwab or whatever else spelling there is. "Either way" this is a bad thread and once again, an extra "s" really shouldn't matter as long as you want Kevin Walter(s) to get a few TD's this year. GO TEXANS!!! :fans:

If you compare the ratio of misspellings/mentions if the ratio is over 1/3 the person is 4 times more likely to drop passes that week. For QB's, if their name was misspelled more than 3 times in the article written before the article just prior to the game they have a QB rating that is 9.3 points lower than those who was spelled 2 times or less. I for one definately appreciate your post. Either way, I am just; concerned, about: having correct grammer and how many oints our teem schores.

Everyone here is just a looser. Who cares how Kevin Walters spells his name. It's not like you are misspelling the name Andre Johnsons or Demeco Ryan.
