I clicked on this thread and thought that I would see Lundy get decleated. I'm glad that wasn't the case. I don't really like the idea of the offensive skill players getting killed in practice. Maybe that's just me.

I saw it and wouldn't say that it was a "nasty stick." I did see Mario stuff Lundy in the backfield. Good play.

Looks like the entire defense is looking more intense as a unit.

That was a nice stick. Lundy's lucky that Mario eased up on him.

Does anyone else think Weaver is gonna have a career in broadcasting after the NFL? Very well spoken imo.

He definitely has the chops for it... it's too bad the networks will pass on a guy like him and keep hiring mushmouths like the Sharpe brothers and Emmitt Smith.

That is the truth!!!

Be that as it may, I think that Weaver is a great role model for our younger DL so they can see how a professional carries himself.

PS: He's not a bad football player either!!!

Articulate, well spoken and does not say ummm and ya know a lot .. quick to think of how he wants to say something and says it without a lot of bs.

That whole "ya know" thing every fifth word is the most grating thing about listening to 99% of athlete interviews.

I have to admit, I stole that from vy.

Day 10 video is nice.

I wish to start a completely useless debate that is indicative of a long offseason and no real football.

Kyle Shanahan video interview is good. However.....

Matt Schaub with a goatee....

Good, bad, or just trying to imitate Dante?

Personally, I put his particular goat on the wrong list. It looks like he lost a bet. NFL quarterbacks with facial hair are wrong, or they should go really really wrong, like Jake Plummer pornstache wrong.

If Schaub turns out to be something we could be over run by Dead and Phish fans. At least there will be no shortage of grilled cheese sandwiches, orange juice and a vat of beans. If you peel back the Schaub onion you will probably find a lacrosse stick, a bootleg of a "Friend of the Devil," a tie dyed fraternity rush shirt from his Freshman year and a book by Ralph Nader.

Weary was supposed to come all the way over from RG to pickup Mario. That's a crazy idea, and it definitely didn't work here.

Mario with a good hit, Weaver as a broadcaster is a definite possibility, more praise fro Okoyue from a teammate, praise for Abaate and Schaub, and a big congrats to Kyle Shanahan on the birth, or soon birth of his kid.

Anyone notice anything different?

Schaub is hitting recievers across the middle.

Nice change of scenery.

Better yet, he's hitting multiple receivers. You know, the ones that are actually open. :texflag:

I enjoyed the video. I have a good feeling about our defense and it is nice to hear the Schaub is completing a lot of passes, vs. what I was hearing last week.

I haven't been this excited about the team since the first year . I am really anxious to see how Schaub is gonna look . I'm also looking forward to seeing if my boy OD will continue to improve . The defense has also got me hyped ! This is so great being excited for football again ! :texflag:

I agree, but I don't like that he hung that one pass up in what looked like double coverage and was picked by CC

Maybe he can take Bill Maas's spot on FoxSports as a token big dude.

Anything would be better than listening to Tony Siragusa. Do they not understand the concept of sex appeal?

Wait, that came out wrong.

Wow! A whole thread dedicated to Mario doing what he's being paid to do all along... I'm speechless.
