Best Free Sports Web Sites

[Revolution]

I would like some input on what web sites everyone uses for good sports information. I am not interested in any pay sites and I am not interested in any Fantasy information sites. I basically stick to ESPN, CBS Sportsline and Fox Sports, but I know there are numerous others out there.

Sometimes they seem to be a bit heavy on the fantasy coverage but their content is usually pretty alright.

A funny aside - their "Whispers" section which reports rumblings and rumors around the league is free on their website. If you go to ESPN, that same content passed off under the same name is considered ESPN Insider pay content.

eSpin is great just to get stats ............. but actual content is BS. I do like there rumor section for baseball which is pay but other than that not so much anymore.

I check http://www.profootballtalk.com out every morning. They keep me up to date about everything in the NFL. They use a little sarcasm in their reporting and also joke about some of the larger media outlets and their analysts; i.e. Len Pasquarelli, Joe Theisman, etc. ....
