PFT has some interesting ex-Texans links:

As someone who has stood next to Morency, I'm not sure that 220 is a good weight for him. Goodness he must look like a bowling ball.

At his height? hmmmm.

I hope Morency has a good year. I always liked what I saw of him during his limited playing time with us.

That is very interesting. He's way too tall to play guard.

Morency was acquired on Sept. 13 from the Houston Texans in a trade for Samkon Gado, because he was a better fit for the zone scheme than Gado. Good thing we don't run the ZBS...:texflag:

That is very interesting. He's way too tall to play guard.Players trying another position at this time of year is common with players that aren't locked in at a starting spot...mainly to see if they can handle more than one position in case someone gets injured...sometimes when teams start moving players around like that it is a sign they are about to get cut. I'm thinking they are just taking a look to see if he is salvageable as a back up or "swing" type player.
