I know we don't need a QB and all that...but what happened to this guy? He was all world coming into the season and got hurt and missed a few games, but came back. I can't find him mentioned hardly anywhere except that he is in the draft.

he was never all-world. maybe in high school.

he was being talked about as a top qb as a junior and before his senior year. I don't know what i missed that made him go from solid first day top 2 round pick to probably one pissed off guy on draft day.

He's been about as popular with his teammates in high school and college as Ryan Leaf was at San Diego. A lot of Iowa players (and fans) think Drew Tate leaving will be one of the best things to happen to Iowa in years.

Any team who signs him as a free agent would be stupid.

Any team who actually wastes a draft pick on him would be worse than stupid.

Yep, I saw the look in his eyes and at that moment....I knew I had forever broken his will to succeed at football. It just delayed 6 or so years.

But honestly I went to North Shore and from what I gathered he was a pretty big prick. But I will admit, I never knew him personally.....so take that for what it is worth.
