Just a quick post to say "thanks" as a fan to you David and to you also Domanick.

You guys played hard and gave us many moments to cheer about...and that is how one of your fans here in Houston will always remember you.

One more thing, I will always admire you David for how you dealt with a lot of negative stuff on the team around you without ever (even over the last couple of months) throwing a team mate or coach/GM under the bus.

You could have, but you didn't...good on ya mate. Now go somewhere and light it up like it is your destiny to do and never doubt that there are probably more fans than you realize back here in Houston that will be pulling for you. :victory:

DD was truly a bright spot for the CC era. A 4th round reach who would have been a perennial probowler in the right scheme.

Fairwell DD, we hardly knew ye.

To the other D, well, I'll just say good riddance and "best of luck" elsewhere...

I'll throw mine in for one last hurrah.

Thanks David for the quality opening game in season one that shook Jerrah's stones and allowed the smack talk to start early. For driving the Jag fans crazy with how an "expansion team" could constantly man up against them. For taking it to the Colts in your swan song.

Thanks double D / D-Dub for coming from no where to light up two thousand yard seasons off the bat and came close the 3rd consecutive season. You electrified the crowd on many occasions.

Thanks for the franchise's early memories.

Thanks for being such a fighter David. You were dealt a short hand, but you never complained. 100% class act. I can't say the same for some "fans" of the team.

Best wishes for you both.

David I wish good health to you & your family. You have had to struggle through some pretty intense times. May God watch over you.

To the fans that belittle the fact that the Texans organizatioin paid him over $35 million, I say that there is not a one of you that were in his position would have done the business side any differently. JMO

Great Memories.

Thanks David.
I would make the yearly holiday trek from Denver just to watch you guys play at Reliant. Thanks for making the last time I saw you play live as a Texan, the one time you stuck it to the Colts. Great moment and what a Christmas present!!!

DD/W - Best of luck whereever you go and I hope the knee heals up soon.

Best of luck guys.

DD - sorry cant get use to the Williams bit - shame your career has been cut short I hope everything works out well in whatever you do.

DC - good luck, even though there have been rumours about what will happen to you, you have remained dignified all the way through. I wish there were other players who had the same class as you.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Thanks DC and I'll be rooting for you wherever you end up!
