Senior running back D.D. Terry ran between 4.40/4.42 and 4.37/4.38 in the 40-yard dash ... 4.36 short shuttle and 7.38 3-cone 38.5" vertical and 10'1 1/2" broad jump ... also did 12 bench reps ... measured at 6-foot 5/8, 196 pounds ... 31" arm and 9 3/4" hand ... SHSU has an old turf surface, so most teams disregarded the agility drills done as traction was terrible... has great special teams potential early in his career... did positional drills as a running back, wide receiver and even defensive back... the Willis, Texas native hopes to participate at a pro day at Houston, Texas Southern or Rice later this month

A total of 16 NFL teams were in attendance; Houston, Green Bay and Kansas City seemed to pay close attention to Terry's workout.

1328 yards in 9 games. Patient and quick. Very very good at picking up the blitz and a decent reciever. Played RB only in his senior year. LB and DB the year's before. Good character as well. 7th round or rookie free agent.

SHSU. My alma matter. That field is old. and it's also next to the cementary of all the men executed by the state when their families didn't claim them. I remember watching Steve Mcnair play there with Alcorn State. I kept saying, "man, that dude can throw."

He sounds pretty good. I mean, even if he does not make it as a runningback the first year or two, he can play special teams with his prior experience at D.

I've seen him play once against our run oriented defense. He is an excellent receiver out of the backfield and has good vision while running. He was a one man team on offense. I believe he was going to attend Baylor, but something happend and he ended up at SHSU.
