Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune (http://www.kffl.com/link/8), reports free agent FB Vonta Leach (http://www.kffl.com/player/10297/nfl) (Texans) visited the Arizona Cardinals (http://www.kffl.com/team/6/nfl).

Does Kubiak not like classic lead blocking fullbacks who can catch the ball? I just am not that wild about Jameel Cook, especially over Leach and Moran Norris last year.

Leach is an RFA, so if another team offers him a contract all we have to do is match it to keep him.

Good and thank you for the clarification.

Leach is a vital guy to bring back, a good FB turns ok runners into good ones and good ones into great ones.

Just ask anybody who has ever run behind Lorenzo Neal.

Since linebacker Shantee Orr and fullback Vonta Leach were undrafted coming out of college, the Texans only own the right of first refusal. This means that if another team is very eager to signed either player, a poison pill clause can be inserted into the offer, thereby guaranteeing the salaries if the player were to stay in Houston, making it difficult for the Texans to match.

Would we get any sort of compensation in the draft if Arizona signed him?

From what I understand, no, sense he were undrafted. . . There's nothing to compensate for. However, I could be wrong, so I hope I am corrected if so.
