If they don't show that hit on ESPN's Jacked Up i dont know what else he has to do. He is a hitter.

They'd better show it because I'm not sure Jason will be able to remember it tommorrow. He suffered a concussion from that hit.

That is two BIG hits this year for Simmons. One more like that and he'll need a nickname for giving big hits.

Over time with those type of hits being handed out, folks will start hesitating coming acrosse the middle and start growing "Alligator arms" on throws. Intimidation is great for a defense.

The biggest thing is that Brown stopped in his tracks. If he goes forward at all he has a shot at the firswt instead he stopped period. That was a huge play in the game.

The one thing that keeps Robinson from being a monster hitter is he's only about 174. They both have the aggressiveness but it helps that Simmons also has about 25-30 lbs on Robinson.

I agree with 88. On that play, Simmons used proper fundamentals and had his head in front of Brown . this stopped Brown from falling forward and maybe getting the first down. So many times you see the defender take a bad angle and not get his head in front.

What was the other hit by Simmons? Was he the guy who knocked off the Oaklands lineman's helmut during the interception return? I saw that live at the game and that was a hit.
If Simmons is responsible for both hits then he definitely needs a nickname!
Bricks Simmons. Laying licks with bricks.
Was he a big hitter in college? I know that Glenn Earl had a reputation of splitting heads.
Simmons laid out Barry Sims during the Dunta return and he was featured on Jacked Up tonight for his hit on Chris Brown.

how is our boy? does 2 + 2 still equal 4?
Still undergoing tests. He says he's fine but according to Capers, there won't be a decision on when he will return to practice until next week.
