I'm torn here, I like both McNair and Manning......I just hope it's a good game, but my predictions is B-More.

The Dream

here it goes.........FUMBLE!!!

EDIT

colts might pay for not taking advantage of that field position.

shinerbock_girl
01-13-2007, 05:02 PM
I'm also surprised...They usually end up with a TD...

shinerbock_girl

Finally, after 10 yrs, I can pull for Steve McNair! I hope the Raven's pull it off.

The Dream

Interception....Peyton's having another bad game in the post season.

EDIT

I swear I never want to hear Peyton doesn't win because of his defense again, the Colts D has been awesome thus far, but Peyton has been lack luster.

shinerbock_girl
01-13-2007, 05:23 PM
Wouldn't that be something for NcNair to beat the colts....He could thank the Titans for letting him go....

I love seeing Manning get frustrated. I hope he gets the snot knocked out of him today. He is such a whiner when things aren't going well.

And he'll just blame it on someone else.

Just like Marino uused to do.

I can't believe McNair. No one was on the back out of the backfield off to his left.

almost another pick

The Dream

is there really any greater kicker than vinatieri????....I just KNEW the guy was going to make that.

Damn Vinitari...can we get him???

The Dream

I'd take Joseph Addai over Reggie Bush.

That is something I wouldn't do. I have been impressed with Bush this year. Especially the Giants game before Christmas. I like Addai though.

this has been some bad play from two great QBs.

Yeah......... but they are both great QBs.....

if the Colts want to win this thing, they're going to have to push the score up..... They can't allow McNair to keep hanging on.....

What is up with the Colts defense? I mean, geez...what that a friggin' smokescreen the last few weeks of the regular season?

They are making the Ravens offense look like that of last year's.

The Dream

LOL I just KNEW Peyton was about to mess up and sure enough he threw a pick.

EDIT

LOL and McNair with the pick...

What will Nick Harper do next? The guy shows up once a year in grand fashion.

nunusguy

Especially the Giants game before Christmas.

I saw some drives of that game with the Saints offense featuring Bush and
every time he got the handoff he darted to the outside.
Until he proves he can run the ball effectively inside the tackles, IMO he's just a WR who is a part-time/backup tailback.
Addai, Maroney on the other hand are backs who can pound the ball up the middle and actually move the pile besides having the speed to run off tackle.
Of course with those guys you don't get all the bells and whistles coverage
from ESPN that Bush gets.

The Dream

the pats/chargers will beat either one of these teams next week.

I seriously think so...it's like the D has come out of nowhere...they are pretty much killing the Ravens.

Barring something really wierd happening, that 1st down should seal it for the Dolts.

yeah it'd go through indy if both teams win.

Hope the Colts lose.

If they win a Super Bowl, coaches start getting hired away and free agents start leaving for more money.

For that reason, I wouldn't mind seeing the Colts win the whole thing this year.

The Dream
01-13-2007, 07:31 PM
wouldn't it be funny if Vinatieri blew a FG and the Ravens won?...the Colts D surprised me today.

edit

game over

If you are speaking about home field then yes. From a historical and poetic point of view it would be Indy finally overcoming the Pats and therefore their first trip to the SB would be through their nemesis.

There has been no real offense in this entire game. Just amazing field goals. Please, oh please let the next game be more exciting.

Ahhhh, A.V again...and yes, it's good....and yes...they win. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

And that's why a kicker is important. 5 FGs..all the points for the Dolts.

The Colts did a good job, there D won them the game (never thought I'd say that) and played a better game then the Ravens.

MorKnolle

The Colts seem to have figured out the problems with their run defense, getting Bob Sanders back from injury has certainly helped in that department. Too bad the Ravens offense couldn't play as well as their defense, they were my preseason Super Bowl pick. The Ravens defense did a very good job all game and obviously kept the Colts out of the endzone, however at a couple key times in the game they couldn't get the Colts offense off the field on 3rd downs and it cost them, especially on that last drive. Meanwhile the Ravens offense kept getting itself out of managable situations and couldn't move the chains very well, especially on 3rd downs, and four turnovers is generally a recipe for disaster, especially in the playoffs.

The Colts are looking pretty good and for once have won two straight games despite Peyton Manning. However, they're guaranteed to play a 3-4 defense next week and Peyton historically struggles against them too, especially the Patriots. Both defenses are playing well and playing aggressive right now, so we'll have to see if Peyton can rebound and finally get the Colts into the Super Bowl. As much as they've struggled against the Patriots in the past, they may be rooting for them to win tomorrow so they get to return to the RCA Dome for the AFC Championship. Just a few short weeks left until a long offseason, so enjoy every minute of it.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I like the Colts. Obviously, not when they play the Texans, but I like Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy. I'd hate for Peyton not to win a Super Bowl. He deserves to win one. It was an ugly game. Neither team's offense played very well, but the Colts got into good enough field position to score enough FGs and win.

Disagree completely. He took some licks that game in the middle and got up and kept running. He basically got all their yardage on one of their drives. Who cares if he piops it outside. He has the speed to beat most people and as he just showed in the Philly game, sometimes that burst when you are stuck pays off. The guy is a difference maker. You don't think Addai and Maroney don't get some of their yards with because of Manning and Brady?BTW, I like Maroney alot more than Addai

I hate the Colts
