Beautiful, that moves everybody on the draft board down one.

I think that Oakland will end up taking him and try to trade Moss. If that doesn't happen, Matt Millen will draft him on principle.

Oh # 8 pick is looking kind of sweet. There is really no way we can screw that one up.

I hope he falls to the second pick just to see what Millen does. Will he be able to resist the urge to take a once in a lifetime WR? Especially when they now need a WR?

i agree- everyone is waiting for that. yes, it's a no-brainer for them to take CJ, but yes, i think they'd perhaps choke and pass on him.

What is the consensus on this board if by some miracle this guy falls to us?

I wouldn't mind trading AJ if we have CJ. Moulds and Walter are a must on the team, though.

It ain't happening.:tease:

there was only an outside chance the Texans would have a shot @ CJ but that was before winning the last two games of the season. any hope that the Texans could steal the best player in the draft picking #8 is dillusional :tease:

Well you have to keep your expectations open.

Hey if Detroit will pass on him, no telling how far he can fall.

if he fell to #8 I trade the pick. Seems to me the piling that much cap dollars into the WR position would be a big mistake. sure, Indy did it, but they have proven guys in a proven system.

No way he falls past 3-4 the best player in the draft period.

I will wait to see what they do with Randy Moss, and who the new head coach is.

I think the go with Russell, and keep Moss due to a lack of good trade offers.
IMO, Al will not pass on a guy who can throw bombs like Russell.

Russell to Moss would be like deja vu.
