Dennis Green was fired as coach of the Arizona Cardinals (http://search.news.yahoo.com/search/news/?p=Arizona+Cardinals) on Monday after he failed to turn the downtrodden franchise into a winner in three seasons on the job.
Green was dismissed one day after the Cardinals concluded a 5-11 season with a 27-20 loss at San Diego. He finished with a 16-32 record at Arizona. The Cardinals will pay $2.5 million to buy out the final year of his contract.

Not a surprise. It'll be interesting to see who they hire.

Maybe the new coach won't address the OL in the first round and we can snag Joe Thomas.

Mora also just got canned with the Falcons.

I could see Mora heading to Arizona actually.

Our line coach might be in the mix.

Mike Sherman and Norm Chow have both been contacted per the Cards VP of Operations (per NFL Network). Sherman apparently has a 'visit' scheduled.

Arizona will go hard after Pete Carroll....

If Sherman goes, I wish him and the Cards the best of luck. If anyone else goes, may the Cards burn in that Arizona heat.

IMO, who ever goes to the Cards will likely have a winning situation. Get some O-line guys and they could be real good.
