SF came on strong the second half of the season. Might be a team to be recond with next year.

Actually, this is for anybody. Is the NFL network done for the year??? Their site says nothing about coverage for the playoffs.

I hope so, no NFL Network where I'm at and I simply refuse to miss any playoff games.

As he’s done all season long, running back Frank Gore churned out another impressive ground game, totaling 153 rushing yards to surpass Garrison Hearst for the franchise record for the most rushing yards in a single season.

“When I think of Frank, I think of a guy who has a lot of heart and soul and passion to play the game and to be a team player,” said head coach Mike Nolan who awarded his back with a game ball. “That’s really who Frank is, that’s who he’s been. As he said last night, although it was the toughest part of his life in college when he kept getting hurt, looking back he really felt that was the best thing that ever happened to him. As he said, ‘Had it not happened, I never would have been a good pro because it would have come too easy.’ He appreciates the difficult times he’s been through.”

With Tiki Barber having a huge 234-yard rushing game on Saturday night, Gore needed 121 yards to close out the season as the leading rusher in the NFC. His 153-yard finish got that done, also marking the second highest total the Broncos run defense had allowed on the year.

But the second-year back added yet a third accolade to his resume with two catches for 32 yards to break the 49ers franchise record for the most all-purpose yards in a single season.
