He won the Terry Award for "Best Unknown Player of the Year" on the Fox Pregame for leading the NFL in tackles.

Not exactly DROY (or even All-Madden,) but he's getting some recognition.

Its a start to a great pro career with the Houston Texans.

When is DROY announced anyway?

How was he credited with only 10 tackles? It looked like he made about 30 today. I've started calling him "Of Course!" When a great defensive play is made, it's Demeco Ryans, of course!

Tuesday!

Should be a given, but I wouldn't put anything past the East coast bias.

156 tackles...most by a rookie in 20 years!

First time to see and watch Ryans in person today. My impression is that if he really knows how to wrap up a runner extremely well. No one gets away from him!

DeMeco is going to be a great leader for this defence...He is a natural leader and I think he will be one of the best linebackers this town has ever had.

He commands respect and that is just what this defence needed...I am very excited about the future of our D!!!

Congrats DeMeco, you have given our team some much needed character.
