View Full Version : How is our draft situation looking now??
Not that im extremely happy for this win today against the colts, but how is our draft situation looking now?? Are the players we have been discussing over the past few weeks still available or did we lose their chance at them? Players such as Jamarcus Russell or AP..what place are we in the draft now?

Mathematically, Pick #3 - #10 are still possible. For all practical purposes, 4-9.
Russell will be there. Peterson will probably go to Cleveland. Cleveland will pick ahead of us unless they beat us next week - and even then they might, as going into this week our draft status was coin-flip-tied with them. We won, they lost. We do get an extra game of SOS, since we beat a division opponent, but a 1 game SOS lead is pretty thin.
Joe Thomas will go to Arizona if available - absolute lock. Arizona may win this week (San Fran). They have a 3-game SOS advantage over our draft status. 3 game swing isn't unheard of.
Alan Branch, Leon Hall, Marshawn Lynch are the names folks should be getting used to.
i would like to see marshawn lynch in a texans uni.

right now you have the 6th pick in the draft. you have the same record and opp winning % as washington, so that could change.
