SUMRALL, Miss. (AP) -- The brother-in-law of Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre died Wednesday evening after crashing an all-terrain vehicle on the player's property.

Casey Tynes, 24, the brother of Favre's wife, Deanna, was riding the ATV without a helmet when it flipped, Lamar County Sheriff Danny Rigel said. Tynes sustained head injuries, was transported to Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg at 6 p.m. and was pronounced dead 20 minutes later, Deputy Coroner Randy Beck said.

I hate to hear about this. Brett is probably my favorite football player of all time. Condolences to him and his family, and to the Tennessee Titans, whom Brett is going to drop 4 TDs and 400 yards on this week. The man has no quit in him.

I feel for the guy. He's had a rough year. I only hope that he and his wife will be able to cope with the untimely death of their loved one. To have it happen on his own property just makes it that much harder to deal with. My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family.

I pity the Titans, they have no chance.

I dont understand why this makes the headlines. This is a personal matter, that im sure he doesnt want being talked about all over the world.

Yes, it is sad; but family of other NFL players die, and not a peep about them. What makes Brett's more important? And yes I know his dad died. But my point is, that this isnt world news. This is personal stuff that shouldnt be thrown around like this has.

JMHO.

Man I feel sorry for him. I hope he's ok. I know the Titans won't be after Monday.
