This is a wish to all the players of the Houston Texans, all the families of the players and people associated with the team, and all those on the message board, a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

It's been a tough year, but I want to encourage all those with the team, let's finish out the year with true Texan heart. The previous 14 games are behind us, and although there was some tough times, we have two left to win. We CAN finish up 2-0 in the win/loss column, so let's do it! I won't finish the year gripping about the best team in the NFL, in my opinion. The record might not reflect it, but IMO, you guys are #1! Go get 'em, and rest assured that this fan in Kansas is pulling 100% for ya!

Let's turn this into a Merry Christmas card to the team everyone. Please all sign on to this, and if anyone has any pull with the front office, would you get this message on this thread to the team from all those here on the Texans' message board.

Let's go Texans, and lets finish out the season with a perfect 2-0 Christmas season!!

Go Texans! :fans: :texans: texanpride :gotexans1

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and

most importantly

By the way, if you really want to give holiday greetings to these guys, they have rows of mailboxes between the player's lounge and cafeteria. Why not drop them a line? I know they get them and read them.

What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace.---Agnes M. Pharo

Happy Holidays to all.

Merry Christmas to the players. Deep down we all know you're trying, but sometimes it just doesn't look pretty. Welcome home for the last two games of the season, you've had a rough schedule - let's go out with some positives (and a couple of wins to take us to 6) this year.

To Bob McNair - I still feel you achieve sainthood by offering a crazy amount of money to bring football back to the Houston. Kudos for pulling me out of the dark side of the silver and blue. Now just work some magic to rid the state of those colors along with some recent infiltrating of powder blue.

To Kubiak, assistant coaches, and GM Smith - y'all were the early present for the fans this year. Thank you oh so much for clearing the house of the previous leadership. It really feels good to have some true knowledge in those positions. You've inherited a mess, but I think the fans will be patient (enough) for you to turn it around. Please don't let us down.

To the behind the scenes folk - thanks for your effort to make the Texans a classy organization that listens to the fans and actually responds to them.

To the fans - thanks for making the boards, the tailgating, and the game a great NFL experience. The difference of opinions, the comraderie, the world's biggest neighborhood on Sundays, and the loud home field is awesome.

Merry Christmas to all and have a joyous new year.

Merry CHRISTmas to the Houston Texans.

And a very Merry CHRISTmas to all of the members of this board.

I pray that God will make himself clear to each and every one of you, at this special time of year.

May Jesus be the focus of you and your family.

Oh yeah (Just for Elle) I hope that you guys get some cold weather...wherever you are!

May your trees stay green (unless it's one of those weird "painted trees") and your family bring you joy.

And remember, no matter how bad you've got it...there is ALWAYS someone just down the road a little ways, that has it worse than you. Remember THEM, and know that sometimes it's just something as simple as a SMILE that makes someone elses day...better.

Don't say "Merry Christmas" to someone unless you mean it!
And smile...and say it OFTEN!

A Very Merry Christmas to YOU and Yours.

The "Blues"

Oh yeah and by the way if your name is David Carr, Luv_Ya_Blue thinks you suck.

Merry Christmas to all the players, and the whole organization. Most of us are here for the long run, and we will be here when you turn it around.

Thanks for being such a standup group, from different backgrounds, but with values and high standards. You all come with such neat "human" stories and I am proud you are on our team.

I am proud to say I am a Texan!!!!

Mr. McNair, thanks for giving us a place to call home every Sunday during the season and a team to get this emotional over.

Most of all, thanks to God that we are all healthy enough to be able to get to the games and be part of it all.

I know you guys will "bring it" in these last two games, and I will be there to cheer you on.

Merry Christmas

Christmas is what we thought it was! That is why you go shopping at the malls and stores! That is why you cook too much food to feed family, friends and those freeloaders of friends your kids have!

Merry Christmas everyone, it is truly one of my favorite times of the year. Hope everyone is safe over the holidays.

To the Texans organization; I wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and I'll be here when the wins come. I'm at work right now (jewelry business), and I have the game on not Christmas music. In other words getting to watch my Texans play is making my day at work a whole lot better. Thanks Bob for bringing football back to my only sports city.

Damn, can you believe we beat the Colts and moved higher in the draft?-----LOL :stirpot:

Bobby 119Caccording to GBN we are in about the same slot.
As a result of losing to Tampa Bay, for example, Cleveland moved up from the 6th spot to the 3rd pick were the draft to be held today, while Tampa Bay dropped a spot to #4 and Arizona slipped to #5 after upsetting the 49ers. At the same time, Houston and Washington are in a virtual statistical tie for the 6-7 spots. However, should Washington and Houston end up with the same winning record for their combined opponents, the Texans will get the higher pick as they lost to the Redskins earlier in the season. Of course, we’ll have the full updated current selection order after Monday’s games.
