Are pro football players "Kids"?

Is it just me or does Kubiak throw that word around a little too freely, I mean afterall, they are grown men out there. I just get tired of hearing the 'kid' this, and the 'kid' that....

Most of the players he refers to as "kids" are kids to him.....

I've never heard him refer to some of the older players as kids....
