We play aggressive football in the beginning of our games. We get a lead. We get cautious. We play not to lose. We lose our aggressiveness. We get nervous. We start thinking about maybe losing. We are afraid of making any strong moves. We are more cautious. We lose the game.

This has been the scenario many, many times this year.

That is what happens when you have never been a winner.

You start thinking about not losing instead of thinking about winning.

As soon as this team has its first winning season I think they will get over this bump.

And it makes no sense. The Texans aren't going to the playoffs. They have nothing to lose, so why don't they play like they have nothing to lose?

It's called playing not to lose. We've had to endure it for 5 seasons and there's no end in sight.
