Thanks to the Texans playing late on the West Coast today, we can watch this is early game on FOX today and get a break from the Cowboys.

That's the first time I've ever seen Bush run really hard. Maybe there's hope for him in the NFL yeat as a runner ?
Better plan on seeing and hearing about that play all week long on ESPN.

Bush just ran for TD being challenged.

I am convinced that Bush will never be able to hold onto that football in the NFL. He is lucky that the Saints offensive line is spectacular.

Bush scores his first traditional TD.

Using him as a decoy on the play with Duece was nice and sucked that LB out just enough, great job by Payton.

what was the run by Bush? some are talking about it, was it called back?

nfl.com shows him 2 rushes 3 yards

3 catches 30 yards

It was a pass play to Bush where he juked the corner, ran it back to the middle of the field, shed one tackler, then carried three 49ers for an extra 5 yards.

They're not tackling Bush...they're going for the ball.

The way this guy doing color for the game is ISO'ing Bush's effect on each play called is making this all that much harder to watch. The "It" factor in spades just like with VY. I'm going to come out and say the problem with the Texans is Mr. McNair. He's a screw up. Man. These scrub linemen on the Saints have as many sacks YTD as MW. RB sezs he's all about watching Deuce this year. Deuce runs upright like Eric Dickerson except he's about 30% slower and less evasive. Eric Dickerson was the man.

As much as I dislike the Bush hype, if he scores, you can't take away from that.

However, the fawning of the commentators is the thing to be sick over...

I don't. I wouldn't want reggie on my team if he played for a dollar. Not impressed, not a fan, and Im actually being rather tame. I have been heard to wish him to play in traffic before.....

Be nice, Bush is having a nice little game. Mind you, nothing close to the 170 yard rushing effort that fellow rookie Addai had the other day for Indy, but Bush is entertaining.
Still primarily a WR and I would imagine will be as long as Duece remains
healthy.

Not Well. Look man, there are 3 people in the sports world for whom i hold blind, unrepentant, HATRED for. Michelle Wie, Carlos Beltran, and Reggie Bush. I refuse to apologize for it, and refuse to shelve it. Its not nice, its not rational, but it is what it is. I admit Im watching every play for his career to end. Sue me.

How could that replay be considered conclusive to overturn the onfield call ?
I dunno, maybe the refs had an angle that we didn't see on TV, but I'm thinking the Saints got a big break ?
OK, just saw the shot with the contact. Looks like the refs got that one right.

Reggie's putting up quite a day against Fresno ... er, I mean the 49ers.

Still ... that 74 yard catch and run was friggin sweet. He's made some really nice plays. It's almost good to see the guy finally producing.

since you are 16 I understand....watch some football for a few more years and you will come to find that rookies don't tend to dominate their rookie years no matter their pedigree. The good ones will flash...consider this a flash.

Bush did look like he have some major holes in his game until about two weeks ago... I'm starting to believe the apologists saying a gimpy ankle has been slowing him down... a few weeks back he started stepping through tackles and churning after contact. If he's coachable he will be that Brian Westbrook type guy. I'm still pretty convinced he's not a franchise running back... maybe he really is worthy of that pick and salary as some sort of Rosco Parrish/Brian Westbrook hybrid. His ball security and size are still issues, as is a tendency to bounce everything outside, and the inability to be a useful inside runner. His performance today was eye opening, and he certainly helped that ballclub with Colston out.

Props to Reggie, he impressed a big doubter.

I don't think I could wish anything like that on my worse enemy. This is so negative for a person who worked his butt off his whole life to accomplish his dream of playing in the NFL. You are blaiming the athlete because others hyped him. I hope this is only an exerggreation and a manifestation of sociopathic behavior.
