I'm sure Atlanta feels that way about Bret Favre and Tampa felt that way about Steve Young.... Like brewhaus said, "...ya never know"

well. The Detroit Lions wanted to keep Joey Harrington. Harrington did not want to be in Detroit.

Personally, I think you have to be pretty hard up to want to be a QB in Detroit. I'd take a back up job anywhere before I'd take the starting job in Detroit.

well. The Detroit Lions wanted to keep Joey Harrington. Harrington did not want to be in Detroit.

Detroit was done with Harrington. They brought in McCown and Kitna and Harrington was due a $4 mil roster bonus. Rod Marinelli publicly stated the team had moved on just prior to OK'ing Joey to find a trade.

There was no way Joey could be successful in Detroit, the city gave up on him, his team/FO gave up one him. Moving him out was the right move, even though he is having success, its success that wouldn't happen in Detroit. What that team needs is a new FO, their head coach isn't to bad, he had the playing very hard, its the players.........the players Millen hand picked.
