He's supposed to be a good kick/punt returner.....Can't wait to see him

They are checking him out. They can do that because we get first waiver dibs:

Kubiak-

(on return situation) “We’re working David (Anderson) right now. (Edell) Shepherd could still do kickoff return, I won’t put him back there (at) punts until he gets comfortable with it. He really hadn’t done that much, we thought that he was doing it good in practice so we gave him an opportunity and he did struggle with it. David will be that guy right now and we’re actually looked at a guy who was on the waiver wire yesterday who was a returner, Dexter Wynne. We’ll keep searching but David will probably be the guy this week.”

(on Dexter Wynne) “We didn’t bring him in. He was on the waiver wire yesterday, he got let go so he’s a guy that we’re evaluating as of coming out here for practice. So may take a look at him.”

How can we lose when we have Wynn on our side?

I don't guess there's any chance this guy's gonna come in, start, and be a shut down corner. Wouldn't that be nice.

All right, he's your inside information. Living in South jersey I've seen nothing but Eagles games for the past God knows how many years and Wynn isn't all that bad of a returner. He made a few decent CB plays in back up for the Eagles, so that's definitly a plus and I think he could easily be a short term starter if need be. he's not that big and makes a few mistakes, but he's quick and has a pretty nice field vision. He's hurt the dirty birds a few times though, but for a waiver pick up it's not all that bad.

With this signing, I'm still not getting why we let Buchanon go. It had to be more than his play. Maybe the staff just didn't like him? I guess he wasn't gelling with the team? I don't know what was going on.

Either way, I've seen a bit of Wynn too, and all I can say is that he can start returning punts for us RIGHT NOW. I thought Sheppard was a big downgrade at the position after letting Buchanon go. No way he can take it to the house like Buachanon can. I'm really surprised the Eagles let Wynn go. He's going to be a good returner for us and has a good burst of speed.

Buchannon was afraid to make a tackle. Hopefully this guy Wynn can drive into a QB running to the pylon. Make em pay!

This guy is an Eagles reject. That doesn't bode well for him or the Texans.

Wynn's not a good corner either or else they'd keep him. Eagles are thin at secondary last I heard. He's a return specialist a la Buchanon would be. I doubt Wynn will actually see much time on our defense if at all.
