Looks like Brodie could be starting against Seattle. Personally I think he is in a perfect position to be a franchise quarterback for that team in the future. Learning from Trent Green, one of the most underrated QBs in the league, will do him a lot of good I think.

So what do ya think? Will the Hawks tear him apart or does the kid stand a chance if he starts?

That's strange, I thought Damon Huard was doing well so far. I guess people are still just looking towards the future. Best of luck to him.

Yeah I just saw that on sportscenter, pulled groin I think. That stinks, I thought he looked pretty good.

Noooooooooooooooo. My QB starter is Matt Hasselbeck. My backup is Huard so I inserted him into the starting lineup when Matt got injured.

My third stringer is Joey Harrington. :yikes:

Oh well, I really didn't want to win this weekend anyway. :crying:

Wow, that's a rough weekend. Maybe you will get lucky. I mean didn't Harrington have like 400 yards passing last week?

Yes he did. But, you know what...I will take those same numbers from Joey this weekend in a heartbeat.

I remember seeing this guy play in the North-South game in Mobile, AL early
this year and he is clearly talented. Of course being just a rookie, its almost always tough for even the most talented QB in his first year.

Croyle looks great throwing the ball but he's little and couldn't stay healthy in college. Cutler has looked great and possesses a nice combination of throwing ability, size, and athleticism. I think if you're going to say these guys are better than two guys who possess spotless resumes and unlimited upside, you should qualify that statement.

Croyle scouting report from NFL.com:

"Despite measuring OK at nearly 6-3 and over 200 pounds, Croyle has a bad body type -- he is very thin for a quarterback (Both in arms and legs). Croyle is going to really struggle to stay healthy in the NFL for a variety of reasons -- he has suffered a lot of injuries at Alabama, is very thin for a quarterback, and takes a lot of violent hits because he does not feel pressure well. He is not an explosive player when it comes to pulling the ball down and trying to scramble for big yards, but the ball does show some burst zipping out of his hand. He lacks the playing strength to hold up physically in the NFL, and will not be able to make accurate throws in the NFL once defenders get a hand on him and are trying to pull him down."

An optimist says "it sounds like Tom Brady". I retort, guys like Tom Brady come around every 10 years, maybe.
