Our Houston Texans lost this previous Sunday to our rival the Dallas Cowboys, 34-6.

As I said yesterday in my post-game thoughts, give Dallas credit. They basically came out in the second half on a mission to dominate, and they accomplished alot. Give them credit.

I thought we played pretty well defensively. Again, just touching on what I said yesterday (Sunday) after the game, we held them to 3 points at the half, and still played fairly well in the second half, we were just giving short-fields to defend at times. I thought we stopped Dallas' run pretty well until the game sort of became out of hand. Our defense is improving, again it will just take time.

It will also take time on offense, we need to be patient. We struggled offensively versus Dallas Sunday, I don't think David Carr played his best game, we failed to establish the important run game, and these are just some things we will need to work on and improve on which we will.

Our record right now is 1-4. We may be rebuilding some this year, no doubt about it, but I said before this year begun we can have solid success, and I stick to that statement today. This team will take time, but I strongly believe we will come together, and our day will come.

I said this alot last year, but I will continue to say it: Stick with us through these rather rough times, and it will make the good times feel that much better.

Infact, I do not believe times are horrible right now. We have been showing positive surges on both sides of the ball so far this season, we just need to become more consistent and continue to put it together, so to speak. We have all the elements in place to have a good profesional football team in Houston for a long time, we just need to show some patience as fans and continue to cheer our Texans on to give them a boost.

That's what fans are for, and thats what good fans do, and that is what we will do.

The challenge for our football team now is to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, get up and start to fight and prepare for our next oppent, the tough Jaguars from the Sunshine State of Florida. This is a big divisional matchup and will be a huge challenge for our troops to say the least. Our team will bounce back, there is no doubt in my mind about that. We have fighters.

Again, we still have a ton of season to be played this year, and we can have alot of success. Our Texans will have growing pains, but will also learn through them, and continue to improve and eventually become a solid, winning football team. As fans, we need to be very supportive, we need to be thankful we have football back in Houston, and do what we can to help this football team, to encourage them, as I know many of you do.

We will continue to fight,
GO TEXANS:texan:

I agree fully man, but Coach K. knew we had problems and he's trying his best but to me............it just ain't enough. IMO they should be better than they have been with experience at the O-line any RB should be able to run at least "descent", you know?! But they have'nt and seriously of course they'll have success in the future...................but what about RIGHT NOW. :yikes:

At least, by the end of the season, I see us reaching the 8-8, 9-7 mark the way we are going now hell we mine as well be 2-14 again. With everybody getting hurt and that it just makes us more vulnerable at that record...................IMO.:spy:
