The D looked solid today. Just too much time on the field.

you know you suck when your defense looks really good and still lose 34-6

3 points in the first half, look at the positives. Simply a matter of having 3 CONSECUTIVE possesions start on our side of the 35! Unless Mario or DeMeco got picked and fumbled, those 34 points were not on them.

Nothing.

We looked like a bunch of slobs out there.

You can't punch the ball in from the one yard line and settle for a field goal?

You can't run one yard to pick up the first down and have to settle for a field goal?

The only reason this game wasn't 60-6 is b/c the Cowboys couldn't get out of there own way in the first half.

Sorry,

I have to go with "none of the above, in fact not much to speak of at all". :hairpull:

Richard Justice wrote an odd article saying that Cowboy fans should root for a Texans win because it would mean the end of TO.

TO instead, gets 3 TDs, one of them kind of a garbage shut TO up kinda touchdown.

So, if you use Justician logic, the best thing the Texans did was allow TO to get three TDs so that he stays on that team and cancerfies them. That placating him now, postpones the inevitable problems for later.

Reaching, I know.

Not much good to say about the game. Here's my attempt.

1. Ryans looked good. Mario looked improved.
2. That the defense held the Cowboys to 3 points in the first half maybe kinda sorta suggests some hope for the defense. Maybe they can be adequate, but not good enough to give away the football in the second half.
3. I like Eric Moulds' hands. Wet slick weather and he was money catching the ball.
4. Pass blocking wasn't a complete horror show. It truly could have been horrific for Carr back there. The flip side to this is that the offense couldn't stay on the field. Easy to protect Carr if you are standing on the sidelines for most of the game.

I admire your optimism.
