ESPN's Ed Werder is reporting that Terrell Owens was involved in a heated argument with his position coach Todd Haley during a meeting on Wednesday. Reports say that Owens and coach were yelling, "Don't disrespect me like that" at each other as the meeting ended.
And that giant Terrell Owens snowball of destruction continues barrelling down the mountain and picking up steam. Unless Todd Haley was making overdose jokes, or questioning Terrell's mother's promiscuity, there is no good excuse to scream at your position coach. None. And the thing that amazes me is that the Cowboys and Bill Parcells have yet to do anything about it. Werder even reports that the Cowboys still plan on making Owens a big part of their offense for Sunday's game against the Texans.
What is amazing to me is that in the preseason, Moulds and Johnson have been preaching how much the TEs/WRs are a team, and whoever gets the ball will be a function of the defense blah blah blah, and that the individual stats don't matter.
And then there is TO.
I am glad I get to root for my team. I don't care that the other team is statistically better in a lot of categories.

My two cents on TO .... I think the guy wants to WIN . I also think that he truely believes he is the best WR on that team (He may well be), Most of the things said about TO in the media over the last couple years wouldnt even come up about another player ..... accept TO forced his way out of San Fran and didnt want to go to Baltimore ..... His agent screwed up his contract .... He wasnt remotely close to being compensated as a top tier WR . Philly was willing to re-work the deal and was a place he had a chance to WIN ..... Remember his play in the superbowl with a fractured ankle ? He was the only guy on that offense that bothered to show up. The media blows everything this guy does out of proportion , ESPN is like a freakin soap opera when it comes to TO .... they go to the guy's HOME and tape him playing basketball and doing sit-ups in his freakin front yard . Give me a break . The public eats it up , repeats it and the saga continues ..... Dont see that crap happening to anyone else in the leage , there are a multitude who have done much worse from beating their wives to drugs to murder .... these jokers arent in the media daily ....
As for having an arguement with a coach ..... I can tell ya that stuff happens a lot more often than any of us know . These people are competitors , both coaches and players and want to be the best at what they do .... arguements happen and are forgotten , unless you are TO.
Ive said my peace .... nuff said about TO till he does something on the field worth mentioning .... or picks up a murder charge . Lets leave the guy alone and let him play some football . :francis:

FWIW, check out SI story on this issue:

I guess the Tuna has this all under control:
DALLAS (AP) -- Terrell Owens is done talking to his position coach.
T.O. said on his radio show Friday that his relationship with Dallas Cowboys receivers coach Todd Haley was ruined by a blowup this week. It began when Owens missed the start of Wednesday's practice because of an upset stomach, and Haley berated him for being late. Owens held his tongue then, but they later argued during a meeting.
The story getting out seems to bother Owens the most because Haley vowed since training camp that all internal matters would stay behind closed doors. Owens spoke with reporters for 45 minutes Wednesday without ever mentioning any problems with Haley. But the incident was reported by several media outlets Friday before Owens gave his side of the story later on his weekly show.
From now on, T.O. said, "there will be nothing else, no other dialogue" between him and Haley.
"There will be no more friendly nothing because I don't trust anybody like that," Owens said. "I will go out and practice hard. I will respect him as a coach, and he should respect me as a player. Anything outside of that I am not going to be able to deal with.
"Right now, we are merely co-workers, and that's it," he added.
Owens caught only three passes for 45 yards in a loss to Philadelphia on Sunday. It was a key division game for the Cowboys and a personal revenge game for Owens after the Eagles dumped him midway through last season.
TV cameras showed Owens screaming at Haley -- who also carries the title "passing game coordinator" -- on the sideline during the game. Although teammates said some of his rants were encouragement, Owens admitted saying, "Why am I here?" about his limited action. Coach Bill Parcells later noted that 13 balls were thrown to Owens, five more than anyone else; two were intercepted and one was dropped.
The confrontation between receiver and coach occurred Wednesday, the first time the Cowboys were back on the practice field. A strength coach was sent to get Owens when he was absent.
"By the time I step on the field, Todd starts cursing at me, this and that, and I'm like, 'Dude, I was in the restroom,"' Owens said. "He said, 'I don't [care] what you were doing. Everybody else is out here."'
Owens said he didn't respond, although he later apologized to Parcells and was told, "All right, just try to get out here a little earlier."
Then Owens and Haley butted heads during a meeting.
"I was venting, he was venting," Owens said. "I felt it stayed behind closed doors.
"It's all about frustration. Everybody is still frustrated from the loss on Sunday. At some point, we had our time to vent on Monday, Tuesday and have that bad taste that sick feeling out of your mouth. On Wednesday, it's a new day. It's a new game plan, a new team that we're getting prepared for. That's where our focus and direction should be. But obviously Todd, he's been frustrated, and he's taking it out on other people."
Parcells does not allow assistant coaches to talk to reporters. Team officials did not immediately return calls. Parcells said Thursday and Friday he wasn't talking about Owens. Asked why, he said Thursday: "I'm tired of it."
Dallas plays Houston at home Sunday.
I love what the satirical Onion had to say about TO (http://www.theonion.com/content/node/53985). (link has a bit of bad language, though pretty funny):
Terrell Owens Blames Poor Game On Drew Bledsoe, Offensive Line, Hamid Karzai, NASA, Samsung
October 12, 2006 | Onion Sports
DALLAS—Troubled, underperforming Dallas wide receiver Terrell Owens lashed out in a press conference at the Cowboys practice facility Tuesday, blaming a combination of teammates, world leaders, scientific organizations, and multinational electronics companies for his three-reception, 45-yard performance against Philadelphia Sunday. "I can't catch the ball if the quarterback can't pull the trigger on those passes, and he can't get the pass off if no one's blocking—and who can maintain concentration when [Afghan president] Hamid Karzai is criticizing [Pakistani leader Pervez] Musharraf for not doing enough to stop extremists in his country?" Owens said in response to reporters' questions regarding how he was feeling. "And now NASA says the shuttle came back from its last mission with damage to the protective foam? And I got to watch that news on a Samsung HP-S5053 that makes everything look all oversaturated. Is anyone out there besides me doing their damn job?"
It is amazing to be complaining about not getting the ball enough when you are dropping passes. He had a clear case of alligator arms with one of those missed passes last week.

He had a clear case of alligator arms with one of those missed passes last week.
Goes along with his affliction of having an alligator mouth consistantly overriding his hummingbird arse. :wild:
This guy is more than a trainwreck, or even a walking natural disaster. He is a DIVA, pure and simple. And he couldn't have been picked up by a more deserving team. Still loving Jerrah, Parcells? :)
Waiting for the next round to begin....
