Except for the last 2 drives at the very end of regulation, we only allowed 133 of total offense! That is by far the biggest improvement in any aspect of our team all year. 3 full quarters, and 10 minutes of the 4th and all they get is 133 yards!

(Granted we gave up 156 yards in the final minutes, but that was garbage time! :))

We all knew it was going to be tough the first half of the season. New coaching staff, new offense, and new defense. Players take time understanding these. We should however be making great strides after the bye week. In the final weeks of the season we should be getting a glimpse of what our team should like next year.

Just imagine if we could add a ball hawk safety or sideline to sideline LB or shutdown corner we could be even better..

Hey, I'm all ready to jump on someone and their double standard...... point it out for me, and I'll get them.

granted...our d looked good against a struggling defense, but they still looked good. washington's offense was struggling coming into houston in week 3, but they tore it up. i think the texans needed this game to put themselves on the right track. they come back against dallas...who has two great receivers in glenn and owens...good running backs in barber and jones. solid d. not out of the woods yet boys, 'cause they could easily put up 400+ yards on the d.
