AJ, DeMeco, Bruener and Daniels. The rest of them should be cut.

Lol right. Since this is Madden and all, and we can just trade them all for 1st round picks...

payne. he busts his butt on every play and is always double teamed ... and STILL pushes the pile.

demeco, spencer, AJ, and dunta are also high on my list.

As hard as it is to vote for anyone on defense, I chose Demeco Ryans because he's made fewer rookie mistakes than I would have expected to this point and at least he gives me hope. AJ is playing well, but he is making too many drops for a 4th-year WR that is supposed to be thought of as "elite". Carr has improved, and I am encouraged, but he can't consistently handle a basic center snap exchange.

I was going to say Demeco Ryans because he has done so well but I kind of expected that...

Carr on the other hand to me has done alot better of a job but still cant do as well because his line is once again not that great...Under the circumstances carr gets my vote

I think several like AJ and Daniels have been great suprises, but I went with Ryans. For a Rookie LB (who is basically playing out of position) to be all over the field is very impressive.

DAVID ELWAY, err.. i mean David(steve) YOUNG, err David CARR.
# 1 Qb in Nfl rating
he will only get better because kubiak worked with; john elway, steve young and now david carr. Look at plummer with him and without him.

Ryan @MLB, some said no way he could play the position. Charles Spencer beats out two veterans (Wand and Salaam) but gets hurt. Daniels, no way I thought he'd start ahead of Putzier.

The brightest spot IMO has to be Ryan. A rookie MLB, starting and taking charge.

Biggest surprise that they are doing well:

Carr - didn't think he would improve this much this fast

Daniels - didn't think a 4th rounder would wind up moving Putz over

Carr
Ryans
Daniels
AJ

in that order

I've got to give it to AJ.

With Demecco on the field on what seems to be around 70% of the time, its easy to accumulate stats and especially at the middle linebacker position.

There were three choices for me: AJ, Demeco, and Carr. I chose Carr simply because he has stepped his game up so much since last season. I know many of you have chosen him as your scapegoat for the way the season has started, and you people are tards. David Carr has produced more than we could have asked him to. He's always under pressure, and has put up respectable numbers. The running game isn't producing at all, and our defense can't stop anybody. The Offensive Line is trash, but D. Carr has gone above and beyond expectations with this team.

To answer your question, AJ has played the best thus far.

Carr has shown the most improvement and DeMeco and Daniels have both been impressive as rookies.

sorry but it's not the BASIC exchange that gets mishandled, its a trick cadence snap that you have to practice repeatedly. its a snap OFF cadence and its not easy if both people are not in sync, as many of these can be blamed on the center as are blamed on carr. not to mention the snaps that are fumbled cuz the center or guard steps on the QB's foot. if I were you I would be more woried about our defense that cant stop a 3rd and 21.

Kubiak said one this last game was on the center and one on Carr--FYI.

Carr... as many times as he has been sacked, boooooed, and just generally dogged. he came out after last game and was upset with some of the other players because they had a "here we go again attitude" when the skins tied the game in the first quarter. I like his attitude. He also said "We are paid professionals and we have to give our all no matter how bad things are going."

Personally I like that attitude, especially from someone who's carreer has almost been destroyed by the Texans inability to get him help on the offensive line.

In terms of the overall team, I am absolutely more worried about the worst defense I have ever seen.

As far as Carr goes, I only mentioned him and AJ because they were the other two candidates in my mind. I am not a Carr basher - I think he has the potential to be a very good QB, but has been dealt a very rough set of circumstances. Regardless of all that, the most basic element of being a QB in the NFL is getting the ball from the center. I don't care if the snap count is done in swahili, he has to get that ball. If there's some aspect of it that's confusing him, he needs to get that worked out in practice. 31 other NFL QBs have managed to get through three games this season without having this many breakdowns on the center snap exchange - so can he. On the occasions where he's gotten stepped on, I don't begrudge him that. Stuff happens. He needs to work it out with whomever is at center, obviously, but stuff happens. I am not like some on here who count all his fumbles against him, either, as I've seen him get blindside hacked more times than I care to remember. Fumbling the center snap exchange is inexcusable, however you dice it, and I'm sure he and Kubiak would say the same thing.

Carr. He was supposed to improve this year and he has. The fumble/snap thing must be fixed, but it looks like something that can be. By the end of the season he may be the QB we've all been wanting him to be. (Or close to it.)

Vote number two would have to be Ryans, he's had a remarkable season so far.

Carr is the #1 rated passer in the entire NFL after 3 games.

This was tough for me. I ended up voting Carr. I expected him to start off the year really, really shaky and... he hasn't. He's made a lot of improvement under Kubiak and I'm very happy.

I almost voted for Demeco. He's definitely been great. He's still making rookie mistakes but he's going to be a great LB for us for a long time to come and that makes me happy.

AJ is great but he's dropped too many balls this year.

This is the first year we have legit contenders for OROY and DROY, Ryans and Daniels.

I voted Demeco...although I am partial to LBs...kid has heart and fire, but I also do like Daniels as well. I have seen much improvement in Carr and I am happy, but there is room for improvement. DLine, well I don't see anyone on there I can truly say has been bright nor can I say the same for our corners, but Dunta did play well this week. I am looking forward to the fins game in the hopes we can see a number 1 in the W column.

by far its Ryans....I wanna see this kid take charge even more and light the fire under the azzes of the rest of the defense...
He plays with passion and with heart!

Hey--got any connections?--I want to jump off the roof before the game.

Can't blame me for the cheerleaders being right in front of our seats--talk to my wife--she picked them.

Gotta admit--that's a tight spiral.

See I always thought of myself as a leaper and there isn't a leaper coin. Isn't jumping a misnomer--it's really falling, just doesn't sound as good.

What's up with THAT! The center stepping on old Dave's foot. Might as well just shoot him in the foot while he's at it. Geez :hunter: Fumble the snap then step on his foot. If I was David, well.........nevermind.:brickwall
