The answer is yes. But it's kind of a tricky question.

Dante was traded to Oakland (for Stabler) before the '80 season. He was injured early that season - broke his leg IIRC - and Plunkett took it the rest of the way. That's the year the Raidahs - with ex-Oiler/Sooner Kenny King - beat Vermeil's Eaglets in the SB...

Dante was on the roster but didn't play all but a few games at the beginning of the season from what I recall.

Ironically, and sadly, Bum was fired after the Raiders beat the Oilers that year in the wildcard.

Thats what I thought but I wasn't sure if he remained on the roster back then and was eligible for a ring...
