How about "Goliath is standing in front of you, and the stone is in the slingshot, we might as well let it fly and see what happens.":cowboy1:

How appropriate with David at the helm

I'd tell them Peyton Manning pulled his hammy and Sorgi was making the start.

The funny thing is, I hadn't read your poll yet in the other thread, I saw it right after I posted in this one.

Yeah, if they pull out the win Mac's going to be crying in his next commercial.

I would love this! That would be an awesome gesture by the Texans. They each donate 50,000 or so and buy a bunch of furniture to give to charity. Then they play their hearts out, and who knows :)

Wouldn't that be like 2.5 mil in free furniture Mac would have to give away? They would have to lock him away in a looney bin! :tease:

Your right that classic. Great post vast321. I like.

As for what do you say." Div. is up for grabs at this point of the year this is the team to bet. If you want one of these (holding up the hand with his SUPER BOWL ring on it) it starts today in Indy. Go kick some(you can fill in)"

I truely Wonder if Kubiak can try and motivate the players with a straight Face i mean we dont compare on any level to the Colts. i mean how does he sell that to the players.

How would I do it? Simple, you challenge them. You don't put it up as David vs Goliath because we have seen what happens when this team gets punched back. You let them know its going to be a war, and if they want to be apart of this they need to step up now. No team this year marks us down as a loss the way we do the Colts. Even our own fans doubt they can win this game. What better opportunity to show the fans that the Texans are here to win?

I'd tell them that last week the Giants rolled over 400 yards of offense on these guys and almost 200 of it was on the ground. I'd tell them we can run on the Colts and that's exactly what we're going to do.

ALL DAY LONG

Then I'd go off on some weird tangent about holding them by the nose, kicking them in their backside, and going through them like crap through a goose.

I'd tell them..

"Everybody that's got something hanging between your legs stand up... you know those lil hangy things between those legs.. Those little things are called b@lls!... now for the next 60 mins go out there and play like you got em!"

Kubiak needs to hire someone to dress up in a Peyton Manning costume (complete with Bobblesized head) and take our Defensive Line in the lockerroom and one by one...beat the snot out of them to make them hate him.

Then, send them out pissed off on the field.

Hey, its just an idea. :twocents:

I would tell them to ignore the media and conventional wisdom that says they can't win, retell an underdog football victory out of the history books, and then tell them to NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER.

I'd tell them that there is only ONE game to win this year...this one.

The rest doesn't matter.

There is no yesterday and there will be no tomorrow...All we have is today.

At the end of THIS day, we WILL be WINNERS!

Don't make me call Capers. No---David stop crying. Ok, fine. If we lose, someone's getting a plane ticket to Oakland a few weeks early.
