Looks like Chris Taylor has been released again. Anyone have any insight here? Why didn't he just go back onto the practice squad?

Are they going to bring back Michael Stone?

Maybe they have another RB in mind...Im hoping they go after Cobbs from the steelers...he refused to sign on to their PS and is looking for another team...He looked pretty good in pre-season...

My thinking on this is he has to be relased then resined to the PS. His release is probley to make room for Dayne this week.

I am not sure, but I think a player has to be released before he can be signed back to the practice squad.
I didn't realize Michael Stone wasn't on the team; I kind of liked what I saw of him during the preseason.

Well, I am thinking that we need to bring in another corner- I believe that we are pretty thin at that position

I am thinking we need to see Stone back here.

How about 1 coverage safety? Our safeties didn't seem to be around any WRs at all yesterday

No idea. I still liked him for a potential role with the team. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Maybe they're bringing Kevin Garrett back. If PBuc can't play we're going to need another corner.

you are correct...a player has to be released before he can be signed to the practice squad. He then has to clear waivers before the team can re-sign him to the practice squad. The Texans currently have 7 players signed to the practice squad, which leaves them with the ability to sign one more player to the practice squad without first releasing another player. In this case, I believe Taylor will be signed to fill the last spot once he clears waivers.
