wow. not one reply here yet? i guess noone is really excited about tomorrows game? Well, you know what? I am. I think we will see a much better Texans team building off that 1st quarter we had last week. We are going to get better each week folks. Hang in there.

I'm stoked for the game, I want to see if we can run the ball tomorrow, if Carr can sustain a high level of play, and if Mario will see more time at DE.

Dead on what I'm thinking. If they can get the run going, like the Giants did, there could be a chance here. They need some good play calling from the coaching staff.

If they can get some good pressure down the defensive line, and from the linebackers, like some teams have against these guys, Peyton starts to look very human.

I want a victory party. If only in my den - on a Sunday afternoon.

I really do think we will see improvement from last week. These are not last years Texans. Throw in a running game last week and we win. Im not gonna rag on our defense, because our D made plays last week early that we could have capitalized on. Sanders got that interception that we should of turned into points. And that 3 should of been 7. And if Carr doesnt step out of bounds on that other play around the 5, there is another 7.

The Texans are going to get blown out by the Colts!

Why should I think different? Last week, we saw the same old Texans:

Carr got sacked 5 times.
The Texans got inside the 10 and got penalized and got sacked.

Payton Manning will pick the Texans' secondary apart, and the Colts' defense will have Carr on his can.

Prediction for Texans' season: 4-12.

I forgot one more thing:

Texans' running game was non-existant.

Heres to an injury free well played game by both teams:yahoo: I truly hope you guys come out, look sharpe and stay competitive the entire game. However I want the win (imagine that).

My prediction is the Colts win, don't care if it's by 1 poin tor 50. So long as both teams come out the the game with no injuries, I will be completely happy with the outcome.

Here we go 30 mins to kickoff. Even though we are major underdogs I'm still excited. We are still a team learning to win, and this is just another step along the way. I hope that through this early adversity our team can come together, and play like a team.

I want to see David play like he did last week, our running game really get started and shorten the game for us. On the other side of the ball I want to see Manning get put on his butt, and constantly have to move around in the pocket.

I want Mario to get 2 sacks, and everyone else on our D-Line (Babin, Peek, TJ, Payne, etc etc) to get 1 sack a piece, which we'll contribute to Mario's presence.

playing indy is a game of coaching and playcalling, because PM is so good at changing the play/matchups at the line and exploiting weaknesses/mismatches, its all about making PM out-think himself, we disguise our blitzes make him move his TE/FB etc, then attack where they arent, if we can get to him before he can dump it off to his cutdowns we will win, that is a tuff task since he reads so well and releases the ball quickly. but he doesnt have edge this year to dump off on the screen. that leaves harrison. If we can not totally bite every time on the playfake we can negate the damage, if we over react he will shred us. LB matchups will be key today he will exploit them. it's just a matter of how comfortable he is when he does it whether it will be a first down or a busted play/turnover. look guys EVERYONE has trouble with manning, why? cuz he's really good hehe. if you have to hurry your throws though, you can be beat.

No, we need the entire team to step up. One player won't do us anything. This isn't the result of 1 bad player, or 1 missing piece. This play so far has been the result of a bad offense and a bad defense.

Even if David Carr sucks, you can't say our o-line isn't horrible. It's been horrible every year. Carr gets sacked even when he only takes half a second to throw. On a REAL football team, the QB gets time to throw in a thing called a "pocket," which we can't create if we try.
