View Full Version : Flanagan Gets Rebirth In Houston

Mike Flanagan isn't concerned about the bad reputation Houston's offensive line has developed the last four years.

He wasn't around to see David Carr get sacked more than 200 times and said the unit's past doesn't even enter his mind. But what the veteran center does remember is suffering through his first losing season last year when Green Bay went 4-12. He doesn't want to go through that again.

"I've done it all. I just want to come out and win," he said. "Last year was the first year I had a losing season, and that was miserable. It was the first year I didn't have fun playing football. It would be nice to get my foot in on the ground floor here of something that's building up to something."

Great story and I think Flannigan is an important piece of what Kubiak and Sherman are building for a team persona. You could see a healthy competition in watching the training camp videos from the Texans website, a few good shots of Flannigan going against the hard hitting rookie Ryans.
