I think they look pretty cool. As long as the refs can call the game correcly it doesn't matter what there uniform looks like to me. Since the refs seem to like this lighter material more it's fine with me to make them more comfortable.

They look cool, but I always thought that by now, player's uni's would look like futuristic superhero costumes.

Are they the made of the dry fit cloth?

If so that is pretty cool.

Who cares what they wear..... they are refs.

As long as they call the game correctly, who even cares about them.

I'm a certified fb ref at the HS level in Texas.
I'd rather wear those than our current duds!
Especially with this HEAT!
Pretty cool looking.

So would it be hard to become an NFL ref if you wanted to?

I have a buddy who is a high school ref. Its all about working your way up through the ranks. High school, college, big time college and the NFL. You will also need to "know" someone that has the connections to make your way up.

I think if they had incorporated it as a Project Runway contest, they would have gotten a better end product.

They would need to use real NFL refs as models - that way we could watch the looks on their faces as they dealt with some of those designers.

Wow! Talk about ugly uniforms. The NFL couldn't think of anythng better than the standard zebra look?! This gives the fans another reason to hate refs who screw up even more.

Ugly. What was wrong with the old ones. They could be wearing pink and purple for all I care though. All that matters is how they do their job.

I dont like em. They look really really weird. Guess im just not use to them yet. I understand that they wanted to make them more comforting for the refs but why did they have to changed the way it looked???

I think Hooters girls as refs would make the game more interesting.

After watching the Hall of Fame game, the uniforms didn't look as bad as I thought. I can't believe I actually took the time to look at the refs uniforms during the game though.
