Bentley screamed, "No," before remaining on his knees as the Browns moved their scrimmage up the field so trainers could attend to the 6-foot-2, 309-pound player.

He stayed on the ground in a seated position for several minutes before Cleveland's medical staff immobilized his left knee and carted him to the locker room.

I'm no doctor but my money is on a torn ACL.
Those poor Browns.

UPDATE 10:15AM: After being taken from the field, Bentley was fitted with an air cast on his left leg, which provides an initial indication that the problem may be with his left fibula rather than the knee.

All of this is based on observation from the sidelines. There has been no word from the team as of yet.

You can't trust those fibula's. It's a tricky bone.

I'm reading now that it might be a ruptured patella tendon ..... no link though

This is truly unfortunate. I feel for Browns fans, if it isn't their top draft pick being lost for the season, I guess it is their top free agent aquisition. I really hoped the Texans would be able to snag Bentley this offseason. I hope the injury is less serious than is currently being reported.

the Browns are the lowest of low. They have got to be the least talked about team in the NFL. Sometimes I forget they exist.

NFL Live is reporting it is a patella tendon injury, possibly season ending.

I think we are doing one of those practices tomorrow - I'm not sure.

I hate it when this happens. I don't know much about the Browns, so I don't really have an opinion on them one way or another, but you really hate seeing a player get injured in training camp. I don't wish it upon any team. I dislike the Titans but I'm certainly not rooting for Billy Volek, Vince Young, or any one else on the team to get hurt. I can't stand Terrell Owens, but I don't want him to get seriously injured. Same for Peyton Manning, etc...

To bad, he is a top player. Hope he recovers well and quickly.

It's a good thing that Cleveland ended up not getting a trade done involving Jeff Faine because that would put them in an even worse situation.

I believe they did trade Faine to the Saints. Faine is currently on the NO roster.

Last season "Texans, Titans, or Browns" roughly translated into "Moe, Curly or Larry".
