View Full Version : Why your team won't win the Superbowl

Indianapolis Colts

Until the league offers a bye from the regular season to the Super Bowl, most of us will remain suspicious of Peyton Manning in January.

Jacksonville Jaguars

They open the season with Dallas, Pittsburgh, Indy and Washington.

Tennessee Titans

Vince Young is a terrific prospect, but this year's read-option is limited to the Titans' playbook.

Houston Texans

If defensive end Mario Williams (the first overall pick in the draft) is incapable of reaching QB David Carr in practice, the Texans are in trouble. In games, the Houston offensive line allows Carr to spend more time on his back than Snoopy.

Had to grin about that line.:) Too bad Rodney Dangerfield isn't still around, he would make a great mascott for us. ("I don't get any respect!")

If our o-line can hold off the #1 draft pick they must be pretty good, huh?

Oh, wait... I don't think the players were playing full speed with pads on... think that might change things??

Anyway, after reading the article, I have come to the conclusion they will be canceling the Super Bowl, after all, no one has a chance of winning!

Exactly, the real practices have not even begun yet...also, I will wait to pass any kind of judgement on Williams until I see what he does in a real game at full speed, who cares if he doesn't get to Carr in practice?

A Snoopy blast....niiiiiiice....and only about two decades too late. :um:

I don't think any true judgements can be made about Williams or the o-line at this point in the off-season. It'll be the regular season, when players are going at it with 100%, before anyone (other than the coaches) can truly evaluate the direction of certain players.

If Mario can't reach Carr then our O-Line is better!!

Is that good?

I think that would be the best way to take this article. And, who knows if this reporter had his head out of his ass long enough to wipe the poo from his eyes and actually watch out OTA's

Did you see this guy's picture? He looks like he doesn't know anything about football and his article validates that theory.

My favorite:

Buffalo Bills
Nobody scares you on offense, unless you're a Bills fan.

New England Patriots
Replacing kicker Adam Vinatieri with Martin Gramatica may be the strategic equivalent of subbing Guillermo Mota for Jonathan Papelbon.

Miami Dolphins
Nick Saban may be a godsend, but we're still not sure if the Dolphins are better at passing the football or a drug test.

New York Jets
The defense isn't bad, but the Jets would have trouble scoring in a women's prison.

Buffalo Bills
Nobody scares you on offense, unless you're a Bills fan.

Some one dosent like the East

Green Bay Packers
Behind another weak offensive line, Brett Favre may literally die a Packer.

This actually made me laugh, as sad as that is, it was still funny :chicken:
