I really hope Time Warner is one of them.

(June 19, 2006) -- NFL Network announced the completion of 75 affiliation agreements with cable companies to carry the 24-hour, year-round football channel from the National Football League -- including the rights to air its primetime regular season games this fall.

All of the deals are for the "expanded basic" level of service, meaning the most broadly distributed package the video provider offers. All distributors will also get to carry NFL Network's exclusive national slate of 52 preseason games as well as benefit from the ability to sell ads in programming targeted to America's most avid fans, NFL fans.

They would be shooting themselves in the left one if they don't jump on board, but then they haven't exactly distingished themselves so far.

They're working on it

The NFL Network is still negotiating to gain carriage on some of the largest cable operators,
including Time Warner, Cablevision and Charter.

Cox carries NFL Network in some areas - but our cable office told me they weren't going to carry it... So I can get NFL and College sports channels - looks like DirectTV is on the way to my house!

I desperately need NFL Network. I actually contemplated dropping TWC in favor of satellite (which I generally despise for technical reasons) to pick up NFL Network.

Keeping my fingers crossed, and thanks for the update.

Installed my dish about seven years ago, just to get NFL Sunday Ticket.
It was great having it a few years until they priced it out of my range.
Now watch NFL network all the time & looking forward to games this fall.
