Vince Lombardi and Pete Rozelle would be two of mine. I'd probably go with two influential owners for the others.

How in the world do you guys expect to carve an NFL Mt. Rushmore without attempting to put Johnny Unitas and his trademark flattop on it I do not know. If the NFL has ever had a guy who would look good carved into the side of a mountain it's Johnny U.

Now if you tried to put Peyton Manning on it you'd need to find a bigger mountain but that's beside the point. I'm not kidding, that boys head's like sputnik! Spherical but quite pointy at parts.

Joining Unitas would be a coach, an owner, and a defensive player, or you could go "player, coach, owner, and commissioner" and add Rozelle. I could not take issue with that.

I'd go offensive player, coach, owner, and defensive player myself. I'm thinking Unitas, Lombardi, Mara, and Butkus.

Wait - all of the faces on Rushmore (one of my favorite movies BTW) are presidents so are we talking front office peeps or stictly players.

Front office / Lombardi - Hallas - Rozelle - Stram

Playa Playazz!! / Rice / Brown (Jim not Courtney) / Unitas / Reggie White

You would have to kick Staubach out for Bob Lilly.

you know what? You're right. That fruit loop would go on the anti-Rushmore.

So I would kick him out and replace him with either Dog Pound guy, Raider Nation Guy, or that Aggie that suited up. What's his name.. let me look.

John Big Dawg Thompson.

That's the ultimate fan. He even testified before Congress to help keep his team in Cleveland.

What seemed like the end really was not, though. Big Dawg began to lead the fans' fight to keep the team in Cleveland. He even testified to the House Judiciary Committee on the issue. He, and all of the Cleveland fans, were rewarded with a new team, stadium, and dawg pound

So that would give you
Ultimate Coach/Owner in Lombardi-Green Bay
Ultimate Player - Unitas ( nobody believed in him until he did it )
Ulitmate Fan - John Big Dawg Thompson
Ultimate Administrator - Rozelle the Architect

he wasn't really a fan, he just had a message to put out there and he did. not just at NFL games, at any sporting event in the world he could.

he wasn't really a fan, he just had a message to put out there and he did. not just at NFL games, at any sporting event in the world he could.

yeah I already reneged. It was a mistake. I guess what I was thinking about at the time was:
"who was the first person to start showing up at games in costumes?"
"who was the first person to start flashing signs?"
"who has been to the most games?"
"who was, beyond a shadow of doubt, absolutely mad?"

Rainbow Man loosely fit all those.

He was even the first ultimate tailgater... LIVING in the parking lots of stadiums and eating everyone else's food.

but ultimately he didn't care about football or the NFL that much. So I would have to put him on the Anti-Mount Rushmore
