What do you think your role will be at the running back position with Domanick Davis?

"I am hoping we can go out there and provide a solid one two punch. Domanick is the running back here. He's a great running back. We are two different styles of runners. He goes out there and does his thing. Everyone knows my style is downhill and banging inside. I'd like to be in some short yardage and goal line situations and some four minute situations at the end of the game trying to get first downs."

What are your thoughts on playing for Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak and what you have seen of him thus far?

"When he was in Denver, I don't care what running back they put back there, they were getting a thousand yards. You have to be excited about that as far as being a running back. A guy that has been on winning teams and won Super Bowls. A guy who also played in the league for about 13 years. You can't do nothing but respect and admire. The things he's trying to do right now is to instill that philosophy in us that we are going to go out there and compete, play hard every Sunday, and we are going to be competitive. Once we learn that offense he is trying to instill and go out there and execute the plays without making mistakes, I think we will have an opportunity to do that."

He said "execute".

Wow - I totally glazed over the "e" word... must've heard it too much in previous years. Tell you what though, as much as people are noting Kubiak's offense in Denver and how any RB plugged in could get the 1000 yards - hope that comes to fruition quick (relatively) here or it could get nasty.

And we have a player that's already gotten over 1000 yards without this system. Just imagine what he could do with Kubiak's offense if it's going to be as helpful as everyone's been saying.
