Looks like I'll be around for this one. I don't expect to see too much in the way of our starters but JJ Moses will get some balls today and we should get a good look at some of the combos at the Buc linebacker spot and get a better feel for how good our second teamers are in year 3.

What are you Austin residents doing to watch the game tonight? We don't get TV 51 out here and ABC is taken up by that damn RNC (When does it end?!)

Will they be showing it somewhere like Joe's crab shack or maybe at one of the sports bar places around San Marcos?

Bob at HPF (http://www.houstonprofootball.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3428) threw down some Austin stuff. Hope that helps.

Haven't seen anything about that...I'm in SM but I think we get the same programming as Austin so I'll look into that and I hope you are right.

a beautiful kick (horrible to Bucs fans) by Gramatica. It had no chance from the time it left his foot

It's times like these I am especially thankful I'm not blind...I still can't see the game live...but atleast I can hold onto the distant hope that I will see the game live next weekend.

To hell with the Republican National Convention.

I'm glad that one channel realizes that there are Texans fans in san antonio. Many times there is no mention of them at all during the nightly sports broadcasts

Nice goal line effort by Babin. Pushed the edge of the line way back and collapsed it.

STEEL BLUE TEXANS

yup. we don't need any injuries. Jon Ogden was injured today against the Giants. we don't need one of our main guys hurt in a meaningless game.

who are the LB's in the game now? or should I say, "where are the LB's?" because McCree seems to be making all of the tackles from his safety spot.

Still own the old TV set that can pull anything local with internal wiring & factory rabbit ears, a little snowy but so was the lack of game plan. Seemed more like extension of training camp tryouts. On the positive side Seth Payne looked great once again at NT, very encouraging. I agree with Steel Blue Starling is a lock for the 5th WR & Armstrong the 4th. Our depth at RB is still a concern as well as QB, Ragone & Banks just don't seem to be the future God forbid something happens to Carr. Otherwise depth overall much improved, I'm going to change from predicting the Texans go 10-6 to still respectable 8-8.

Someone must have lit a fire under Foreman's hind-parts (must be the Wong Effect), because he's actually trying to put the screws to people on the LOS.

Payne looked great. Got a few tackles (one with one arm!) and some pressure on the QB.
