North Dallas Forty.

Greatest football scene, by far, in any movie is when Jefferson goes postal in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Although most believe that it was the wrecked Trans-Am, some would say that, from a deleted scene, there was some disappoinment in not getting the Earth, Wind & Fire tickets from Damone for Jefferson and little brother.

Well, that's where I got Any Given Sunday and I got Rudy at Target for about five bucks.

"Any givin' Sunday"...........Al Pacinos speech at the end was very good.
The hits were the best, and Jim Browns, "I dont get heart attacks, I give'm".

The question was most realistic, right? And I see the program named?

Friday Night Lights was absolutely retarded, but don't tell me girlfriend that I said that.... she was in the movie (as an extra ).

Remember the Titans was an excellent movie in my opinion.... and it was pretty realistic considering it was based on a true story, haha. But I guess a majority of these football movies are?

All the Right Moves is a good one, plus the scene from Fastimes at Ridgemont High. Also Wildcats and the original Longest Yard. Brians Song is also a classic.

I did enjoy it and I too had some people I know in the movie - my social studies teacher was the head coach for Midland and Roy Williams "stole" my best friends lines as assistant coach for Midland.

The original Longest Yard, Wildcats and All the Right moves were others I liked.

I remember watching that movie and thinking it was pretty cheesy.....until Pacino's speech about "life is a matter of inches." That speech made that movie good. Made me ready to run through a wall.

Any Given Sunday was a bit overstylized but I enjoyed it. No sports movie can or ever will top Hoosiers.
