Well now that we are hitting the hibernation period in the NFL, I think it'd be fun to play some sports trivia. In the age of google, it's easy to look up just about anything and anwer the easy questions easily and make tough questions impossible, so try your best to not use google and go with the brain!

I'll start, if you get it right, ask one of your own!

Question 1:
Who lead the Texans in touchdowns scored last season, and how many did he have?

Domaick Davis, 8? is my guess....

Right player, but he had 6. Two rushing, 4 receiving (he was on my fantasy team!). Scary thing is next best was Corey Bradford with 5 receiving!!

Ok next question goes to Texans NeedRBin05, but I'll post another to hold you over:

Who scored the Texans first ever TD?

swtbound07

Billy Miller

You're right! Now you get to post a question.

To hold you over yet again, here is another one: Which Texan fumbled the ball during a pre-touchdown celebration/taunt maneuver?

The one...The only...Jabbar Gaffeny.

You should also post a question if you answer one correctly :)

But I"ll keep going as long as people keep getting them correct:

Who was the first person to score AGAINST the houston texans defense?

Tiki Barber.

Name #74 in this photo. That's the gimmee. If you really think your badazz, name #68, and for extra credit name the event.

Which Texan Defensive Star, got a sack, Forced a fumble, recovered it, and ran it back for a touchdown?

Milford Brown?

Nope. Try #74 first . That's the easy one.

Oh wait, Todd Washington?

Is 68 Charles Hill, dude from the first draft?

aj.
05-07-2006, 08:46 PM
Nope, but you're in the right era.

I seriously doubt anyone will get 68 unless you're a freak like me who happens to remember weird stuff.

74 is easy -- c'mon... one of the originals who never amounted to anything.

Another bonus question would be to name the players who got in a fight at this event. Notice the fuzzy image of an NFL owner on the far sideline for a hint.

Vinnie333
05-07-2006, 08:48 PM
is 68 greg randall?

Vinnie333
05-07-2006, 08:49 PM

Is that Bill Parcells I see in the other sideline? It's either the Lions or Cowboys..so....scrimmage with the Cowboys? (I can barely recognize Bradford without a ball falling from his hands.)

Kevin Williams and Shockey. Shockey's first NFL game.

Coincidentally #68 played in that game.

That would be Jerry Jones on the far sideline - at the right of the picture.

Drob and Shockey

:shocked Shame on you for thinking that was D-Rob!! He wouldn't go out like that...

Everyone knows it was Kevin Williams that got rolled over on that play...

Is 68 Demingo Graham?

Probably not, but it was worth a shot...

That was the best guess yet.

Okay, I won't drag this on....it was kind of unfair anyway.

68 is a guy by the name of Calvin Collins. He backed up McKinney at center for the 5 preseason games in '02. He was cut the week before the 19-10 game and never played in a regular season game for the Texans. He was a journeyman OL, playing for the Falcons, Vikings and a few other teams over a 6 or 7 year period. He's an Aggie from Beaumont.

The picture was taken at the Texans - Cowboys scrimmage at Robertson a few days before Williams got rolled by Shockey.

It's teh Cowboys, but that's not Parcells on the sideline it's Dave Campo.

Wow are you serious? What is their record?

I'll go with Cleveland... But I have no idea of a record...

I dont even know the texans history record. 5-6-7-2...ok 20 wins alot of losses.

Q: Picture game: Name #15 and #89.

The Lions have the worst record since 2002...Their overall record is 19-45...

Number 15 is Andre and 89 is Reggie "Swintown" Swinton...

Here's my question: Who was the first Texan to record a sack in a regular season game?

Arizona has 44 losses, 20 wins over that span. I believe that is worst.

Heres a tough one:

When the Texans beat the Steelers in 2002, they set a record for fewest offensive yards. How many net offensive yards did the Texans gain that game?

And for bonus points, how many yards did the Steelers have?

hey im a fan of rugby league a game of hard knocks but also i have a passion for football. what i wanted to say is that for a full back position the nfl coaches should take a look at the rugby league players because there are plenty of 6'4 to 6'7 averaging round 120kg (pure muscle) who can do 100meters in 12sec (approx) CONSISTANTLY!!!!!

wouldn't they be good enough for a FB position? opinions plez
