Saw last night on ESPN tracker that Marcus Vick got invited to Miami's rookie camp this weekend. Can't find a link though to confirm it. Anyone else see this?

I can't find anything on si, but if Saban takes Marcus, he sure is developing a habit of taking problem-players.

As crazy as Marcus is -- if he is indeed picked up by the Dolphins his chances of being shot are really quite high.



Oh, you meant he's going to get a 'shot' like an 'opportunity'... :stirpot:

yah i saw that the dolphins invited him to camp to, i think i saw it on the NFL network

The Dolphins invited undrafted rookie quarterback Marcus Vick to participate in its rookie minicamp this weekend, a source said. Vick has not been offered a contract. The minicamp essentially will be an elaborate tryout.

The only danger is getting shot for Saban. If Marcus is any problem they can cut him at anytime for any reason. The kid is a head case, but you could see it on the field that he also has talent. Why not give him a shot as long as he did not cost you a draft pick? The moment he causes any problems on or off the fields cut him loose. It is a project, but well worth the risk to me (there is no risk).

I think I had a freudian moment here b/c I read it saying....

Dang when trouble follows you it even follows how folks read sentences about you.
