"The 6-foot-0 Williams said he would attend the Texans rookie mini-camp starting at the end of this week."

Did anyone know we have a rookie mini-camp starting in a week.

I was aware of the rookie mini-camp. Most teams have a rookie mini-shortly after the draft to help the rookies get familiar with how things are done in the NFL. Don't expect anything too intense. Just some positional drills, but mostly its a time to get acquainted with the coaching staff & to start learning how to be a pro.

I believe 2 weeks or so after the rookie minicamp they begin minicamps with the full squad. That's when we'll see a little more action, and then after that wraps up the full training camp starts up shortly thereafter. Then it's on to the preseason, and the regular season. Can't wait.

Just a thought, could you imagine trying to haze a 6'7 295 pound rookie. I just couldn't imagine trying to duct tape him to the goal post.

I dunno, man, some NO Saints managed to haze Kyle Turley. I think if you can haze that guy, you can haze just about anyone.

Well, at least we all know they won't be hazing him because he was a hold out.

We have big guys on our roster as well. Todd Wade is bigger than he is, isn't he?

You know Travis Johnson is going to be all over Mario playing the veteran this year.:yahoo:

Yeah it sounded like johnson had it the worst (if you can say that) out of all the rookies. He will use what he learned from Gary Walker.

I would bet on Weaver and Robaire doing there fair share

Mario could kick TJ's butt, so TJ should avoid him lol

Jerome Mathis will try to make him carry his stuff since he was a probowler.

I'd bet on Mario to, but TJ's the veteran now and he's lookin' for payback this year. Mario better be carrying the cash also. The rookie's gonna get stuck with the tab every time!

I bet TJ can rack up a pretty big tab at the bar as well, if they serve food.

In the undrafted post of the QB Quinton Portis they said rookie mini-camp starts May 11, 2006. That's not that far away. A little piece of the story here and there with no offical statement.
