View Full Version : Ryans MLB?

If this kid is as smart as everyone is saying and has very good instincts then I say we plug him in at MLB. I mean he has the measurables at 6 "2" 240 lbs. And from what it sounds like he is a natural leader on and off the field. Maybe they will have him at either the Sam or Wille position this year with the intent of moving him next year to the middle.

I would like him at MLB so we can get Shantee Orr on the fiel at the Sam spot. Ryans and Orr are my 2 favorite Texans linebackers and I want them to be on the field together as often as possible :redtowel:

What do you think is going to happen with all the surplus LB that we have signed to our roster.

Lots of TC competition!!! IMO, the guys who can play special teams will have the best chance to stick.

I watched him play alot throughout his career, and he can take over games, but i dont feel like he was worth what to me is basically a late 1st round pick.
He was projected in the first by most mocks I saw. Good value at #33..and obviously a quality dude.

I would like to try him out at MLB.
Cowart, Rainer, and Polk are your MLBs.
Ryans will challenge Greenwood at weakside backer right off the bat, and will probably replace him as a starter before year's end.

I think Ryans ends up in the middle. I also think that Cowart may struggle to make the team. Just a guess...and my guess on this isn't better than anyone else's.
