I believe there was a report after the 2003 draft that Griffin was the guy Denver took after Houston (who chose 7 picks earlier) took the guy Denver had targetted--a certain Domanick Davis.

I thought this would be a story about Tatum Bell. 'Course, he played high school ball at DeSoto but is also a former Texas high school player headed for possible stardom with the Denver Broncos.

I hope Quentin Griffin is an absolute flop, gets cut and never is picked up again. I don't see that happening, since he did play fairly well in college(unfortunately especially against texas). It will be interesting to see if Shanahan can make one of those guys into a big time back.

Griffin bought a 7 series from where I work and got to meet him...very nice guy, not dressed out..just down to earth. But the one thing that caught my eye besides his tatoo on his neck is that I'm only 5-10...and I took a picture next to him and I'm a good (what looks like) 5 inches taller than him.
