We stay at number 1, then we take Reggie Bush. Widely regarded as the best player in this draft.
We trade out for something like this:
• Pick No. 4 (1,800)
• Pick No. 29 (640)
• Pick No. 35 (550)
• Pick No. 103 (88)
We can get Mario Williams or D'Brick and a slew of other players that can start and/or contribute right away to help us no longer be the NFL laughingstock.

knock on wood...where there is a will, there is a way...we could end up with lendale white, jay cutler, and a bag of cheetos. That'd be bad

Anything could become screwing it up in hindsight...just have to wait and see. A lot of people thought Casserly screwed up the draft when we picked Dunta...

Don't put anything passed Casserly. Don't forget we had Derrick Johnson fall into our lap last year and decided to trade down to draft a player nobody had heard of. Heck even Jamaal Brown (the OT the Saints traded up with us to get) turned out to be a solid starting tackle. Think we could use one of those right now?
Generally not a good thing it when the draft analysts say WHOA, now there's a suprise!

We screw it up by trading way down the first round and getting some smuck.
That is the only way I see this going down badly.
Otherwise it is a win-win situation for us

there's only one way they can screw this draft up and that's taking vince in the first.
