SI: Do you ever check out mock drafts to see where people have ranked you?
Bush: No. I've tried to avoid that as much as possible because at the end of the day it's still speculation.
SI: But does knowing you'll likely be No. 1 overall make the draft less nerve-racking?
Bush: It does. I've been preparing to be the No. 1 draft pick, and that's what I'm looking forward to, whether that's with the Houston Texans or another team.
SI: The only thing scouts have wondered about you is if you can handle 350 touches in an NFL season. Is that a fair concern?
Bush: Obviously people will have that question considering the type of program I come from. It was hard to have one main guy because we had so much talent on our team. So naturally people are going to question whether I can carry the ball 20 or 30 times a game. My answer to that is yeah, I can, without a doubt.
SI: How do you expect to be used in the pros?
Bush: Very similar to the way I was used at Southern Cal. Coaches have asked me if I still want to return punts and kicks, catch the ball out of the backfield and play receiver. I've told them, "Yes, I want to do those same exact things."
